Do You Provide A Fitting Service For Your Bi-folding Doors, Or Are You Supply Only?

We are able to offer a supply only or a supply and fit Service’ for our bi-folding doors. Bifold doors are not difficult to install, but they do require due care and attention when installing them. They must be installed completely square and level, after which each of the panels must be fully toe and healed.. When fitting your bifold doors we will install the doors with due care and attention into a fully prepared aperture, toe and heel the panels, foam the frame (where necessary), fully test the doors, and leave the doors in a perfect working condition. This service does not include plastering, rendering or any building works.

Are Your Aluminium Bifold Doors Thermally Efficient

Our Bi-folding doors are fully compliant to the building regulations and exceed the requirements for part L (Conservation of fuel and power). Our Bi-fold Doors all use the latest polyamide thermal break technology, which creates a barrier between the outside and inside aluminium sections, therefore reducing heat loss through the aluminium. Our bi-fold doors also come with 90% argon gas filled Low E (soft coat) double glazed sealed units as standard.

How Secure are Bifold Doors?

In short, bi fold doors can be very secure. The glass used is toughened safety glass and all systems come with a multi-point locking system for added security.

What is a Traffic Door?

A traffic door is a door that is part of a bi folding door but acts as a traditionally opening door. It’s designed as a hinged traffic door sash that opens and closes as a normal door would with a lever handle. A traffic door allows easy access internally and externally without opening the bifold all the way and includes a built-in locking mechanism.
